The Behavioral Medicine Report Reaches An Agreement With ISNR To Re-Publish Select NeuroConnections Articles

neuroconections-logo-smallI am pleased to announce that the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR) and The Behavioral Medicine Report have reached an agreement that allows us to re-publish select NeuroConnections articles. NeuroConnections is a joint quarterly publication affiliated with both ISNR and The Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB) – Neurofeedback Division. ISNR members receive the NeuroConnections publication as a free benefit of membership.

NeuroConnections publishes an excellent variety of nicely written topics of interest to clinicians who use neurofeedback/QEEG technologies. These articles are often authored by leading neurofeedback professionals and researchers, as well as by representatives from popular neurofeedback/biofeedback equipment manufacturers, and each edition often spans 35 or more full color pages. The clinical practice of neurofeedback and QEEG is emphasized, and readers come to better understand how noted experts in the field use neurofeedback and QEEG in their private practice, clinical practice, or research setting. Many articles are grounded in research, include citations, and contribute to evidence-based practice and the promotion of excellence within the field. In addition, many topics have a strong educational component. For example, Robert Thatcher, Ph.D. explained the conceptual foundations of z-score biofeedback in the April 2008 edition.

A select article from each upcoming edition of NeuroConnections will appear at The Behavioral Medicine Report. In addition, we plan to post several articles from older editions of NeuroConnections. If you enjoy the NeuroConnections articles you read here, I urge you to become a member of ISNR to receive the full printed copy of NeuroConnections.

Last, The Behavioral Medicine Report is very excited to be involved with such fantastic organizations as ISNR and AAPB. We hope to contribute to their continued success in the promotion of neurofeedback and biofeedback modalities of therapeutic intervention.
