About me
Steve Kassel, MFT, BCIA-c, BCIA-EE, AAPM is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been Board Certified in biofeedback since 1985 and Neurofeedback a few years later. He works with individuals and couples with a bio-psycho-social-family systems orientation and uses a variety of therapies, such as cognitive behavioral, EMDR, biofeedback, and neurofeedback in his clinical work. He works with a variety of cases to help with symptoms of attention deficit, anxiety, depression, PTSD, physical pain, and general life issues. Currently, he is researching Interpersonal Biofeedback, a project which uses multi-channel feedback of physiology and video/audio components to help couples communicate in a healthier, non-physiologically reactive way. He has lectured on Biofeedback and Neurofeedback in K-12 Schools, worked within a classroom setting to teach junior high and high school students to control physiology, appeared in a BBC episode of "Natural Mysteries," is involved in community health care programs, and is a health care reform activist.
