About me
Jacqueline Corcoran Ph.D. is a professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and the author of The Depression Solutions Workbook: A Strength & Skills-Based Approach (2009, New Harbinger). She has also published over 50 articles and book chapters and eleven other books for mental health and human service professionals: Mental Health Treatment for Children and Adolescents (2010, Oxford University Publishing); Research in Social Work (under contract, Oxford); Helping Skills in Social Work (under contract, Oxford University Publishing); Groups in Social Work: A Workbook (2009, Pearson); Mental Health in Social Work: A Casebook on Diagnosis and Strengths-Based Assessment (2009, Pearson); Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (2008, Oxford); Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis in Social Work Practice (2010 2nd ed., Oxford); Cognitive-Behavioral Methods: A Workbook for Social Workers (2006, Pearson); Building Strengths and Skills: A Collaborative Approach to Working with Clients (2004, Oxford); Clinical Applications of Evidence-Based Family Interventions; (2003, Oxford) and Evidence-Based Social Work Practice with Families: A Lifespan Approach (2000, Springer).
