Science Daily is fantastic research based website. The site is massive though with many, many daily updates. Keeping up with important mental health research on this site can be a daunting challenge for practitioners and the general public. Hence, I plan to provide weekly to semi-weekly updates on The Behavioral Medicine Report in a similar format as the NIH/NIMH Research News Update to help our readers stay at the forefront of new research developments.

Dr. Christopher Fisher, Managing Editor for The Behavioral Medicine Report, received his PhD in Clinical Health Psychology & Behavioral Medicine with an emphasis in biopsychosocial approaches to health and wellness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), neurofeedback, biofeedback, cranial electrical stimulation (CES), and QEEG from University of North Texas. He is Board Certified in Neurofeedback (BCIA). Dr. Fisher also received a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Dr. Fisher maintains a private practice in Corpus Christi, Texas, and offers individual therapy, group therapy, and neurofeedback.
