The Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010 officially passed through House of Representatives on 3/21/10 and the Senate on 3/25/10 with the purpose of implementing additional fixes and changes to H.R. 3962 and to appease members of the House who were unhappy with certain aspects of H.R. 3962.

This “reconciliation bill” contain over 2300 pages and is actually lengthier than the original bill (H.R. 3962) that it amends. As you might have heard, The Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010 is also the bill that assigns a good portion of the student loan business to the federal government.
